Job Description

POSITION:                 Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) - Comsewogue

PROGRAM:               ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Program at Comsewogue

LOCATION:               Port Jefferson Station, NY

HOURS:                     Typically range between 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. daily,

                                   Monday - Thursday, September - June                                                                      

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and maintain effective instruction during the mandatory homework/reading periods, enrichment lessons, and special events
• Monitor students to provide adequate supervision and a safe environment; including following health and safety guidelines outlined by the district
• Provide communication with parents, staff, and ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Directors
• May also facilitate weekly clubs or enrichment activities for additional hours (per diem)

START DATE:           September 7, 2023

SALARY:                   $27.50/hour (when school is in session)

• NYS K-6 Certification
