Job Description

POSITION:                 Tutor Advocate (PT) (Per Diem Hourly)

SITE/BUILDING:       East End of Long Island, NY

ASSIGNMENT:          Elementary and Secondary content areas

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide instructional support and advocacy for Spanish-speaking children of migrant farm workers in school settings and/or virtually
• On-going communication with parents and staff
• Participate in regular staff meetings

START DATE:           March 1, 2024

SALARY:                   $24.00 per hour

Job Qualifications

• NYS Teaching Assistant Certification or 60 college credits
• Spanish speaking
• Flexible Days and Hours
• Access to transportation; mileage is paid between assignments
• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
