Job Description

POSITION:         Summer Enrichment Nurse (PT) (Bay Shore, Bayport-Blue Point, and Connetquot)

ASSIGNMENT:  July 1, 2024 – August 9, 2024 (Bayport-Blue Point and Connetquot)

                            July 8, 2024 – August 16, 2024 (Bay Shore)                             

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides necessary health care to students in the Summer Enrichment Program
• Effectively communicates with staff, parents, and students of the program
• Reports to the Summer Enrichment Director and keeps them apprised of daily activities

 

Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:

Orientation:     June 28, 2024 (Bayport-Blue Point and Connetquot)

                        July 2, 2024 (Bay Shore)

Program:         July 1, 2024 – August 9, 2024* (Bayport-Blue Point and Connetquot)

                        July 8, 2024 – August 16, 2024 (Bay Shore)

*Programs closed July 4, 2024 and July 5, 2024

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

SALARY RANGE:        $31.50 - $32.50/hour

Job Qualifications

• Appropriate NYS certification or NYS License required
• Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
