Job Description

POSITION:                 Adult Education Literacy Instructor – Day and/or Evening (PT)

SITE/BUILDING:       Riverhead Correctional Facility

                                   Yaphank Correctional Facility                                                                     

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation of ESL/High School Equivalency curriculum
• Establish a supportive classroom environment that fosters the social-emotional learning of all students
• Previous experience working in residential or correctional facilities preferred.

START DATE:           July 1, 2024

SALARY:       $42.49/hour

• NYS Teacher Certification
