Job Description

POSITION:                 Enrichment Teacher/Substitute Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) – Comsewogue

PROGRAM:               ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Program at Comsewogue

SITE:                          Various K-5 Elementary Buildings in the Comsewogue UFSD                    

LOCATIONS:             Boyle Road Elementary School

                                   Clinton Avenue Elementary School

                                  Norwood Avenue Elementary School

                                   Terryville Elementary School

HOURS:                     Monday – Thursday ~ September – June (when school is in session)

                                  Typical range between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Daily)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and maintain effective instruction and academic support during the mandatory homework/reading periods, enrichment lessons, and special events
• Monitor students to provide adequate supervision and a safe environment, including following health and safety guidelines outlined by the district
• Provide communication with parents, staff, and ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Directors
• May also facilitate weekly clubs or enrichment activities for additional hours (per diem)

START DATE:           September 4, 2024

SALARY:                   $28.00/hour (when school is in session)

• NYS K-6 Certification
