Job Description

POSITION:                 Adult Education CTE:  Adult Education Literacy Vocational Advisor (PT-Day and/or Evening)

PROGRAM:               Adult Literacy

SITE/BUILDING:       Bay Shore Adult Education Center, Bay Shore, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Adult Education literacy students in developing an academic and career plan
• BEST Plus/TABE testing of all students
• Complete all required literacy paperwork

START DATE:           As soon as possible

SALARY:                   $42.49/hour

Job Qualifications

• NYS School Counselor or Social Worker Certification
• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
