Job Description

POSITION:                     Summer Enrichment ENL Teacher (PT)  (Bayport-Blue Point and Bay Shore)

ASSIGNMENT:                July 1, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (Bayport-Blue Point)

  July 7, 2025 – August 15, 2025 (Bay Shore)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Summer Enrichment Director
• Provides ENL instruction for primary grades 1-3 or provides ENL instruction for intermediate grades 4-6

Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:

Orientation:           June 30, 2025 (Bayport-Blue Point)

July 1, 2025 (Bay Shore)

Program:              July 1, 2025 – August 8, 2025* (Bayport-Blue Point)

July 7, 2025 – August 15, 2025 (Bay Shore)

*Program closed July 4, 2025

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

START DATE:                  As detailed above

SALARY RANGE:        $28.30/hour - $36.50/hour

Job Qualifications

• Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License required
• Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
