Job Description

POSITION:                Technology Support (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2025

ASSIGNMENT:          May/June 2025 - August 21, 2025

SITE/BUILDING:        Bay Shore High School                Bay Shore Middle School

                                  155 Third Avenue             - or -     393 Brook Avenue

                                  Bay Shore, NY  11706                  Bay Shore, NY  11706

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support to students and teachers during the summer school program
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
• Communicate with administrator(s) to ensure the effective use of technology integration

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

• Responsibilities related to planning will begin as soon as successful candidates are identified, anticipated May/June 2025

Registration Days:  July 1, 2025 and July 2, 2025

(Registration hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)

Program runs from:  July 7, 2025 – August 14, 2025 (Monday – Thursday)

(Program hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

 

START DATE:           May/June 2025

SALARY:          $51.17/hour

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:       

• Experience in providing technical support in a professional or academic setting
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Clear communication skills to inform and support all staff with technical issues that arise
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
