Job Description

Position: Network and Systems Specialist II (contingent) / M-F, 9am – 5pm

Location: Office of Technology Integration / Edward J. Milliken Technical Center

Responsibilities:                          

• Evaluate the agency’s network, equipment, and software needs and implementation. This includes reviewing, updating and maintaining existing networks, desktop computers, file servers and other hardware and software.
• Installation of networks and systems as necessary.
• Supervise Network and Systems Specialists I and below.
• Provide level 2 technical support for the agency’s users.
• Needs assessment of new/existing equipment and recommendation of said equipment as well as upgrading of existing hardware and software.
• Establish Hardware and software standards for the agency.

Salary: $79,904* (per CSEA contractual guidelines)

*This figure represents the 2024-2025 salary, pending contractual negotiations.
