Job Description

POSITION:                 Clinical Medical Assisting Instructor (FT, 10-month, Day)

 

ASSIGNMENT:          Career, Technical and Adult Education

 

SITE/BUILDING:        Edward J. Milliken Technical Center, Oakdale, NY

 

START DATE:                                   September 1, 2026

 

MINIMUM STARTING SALARY:      $59,861.00*

  * Minimum starting salary rates are established per 2025-2026 Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).  2026-2027 compensation rates will follow CBAs when available.

Job Qualifications

• NYS Medical Assisting 7-12 Certification or eligible for Transitional A Certification

• For Transitional A Certification pathways, please click here

• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Appropriate industry certifications - Certified Medical Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy are required; CPR Trainer certification preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to plan and implement student learning per the established curriculum
