POSITION: Data Expert/Staff Developer (FT – 12 month)

BASE LOCATION: Instructional Support Center @ Sequoya (ISCS), Holtsville, New York
REGION SERVICED: Suffolk County, NY - Requires Daily District Travel

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Eastern Suffolk BOCES Data Expert/Staff Developers analyze and interpret student performance data to support school districts in utilizing data as a basis for informing instruction, curriculum planning and programmatic decision-making.
- Engages and collaborates with district stakeholders and internal staff to anticipate and support individualized data initiatives
- Creates custom data visualizations, and presents reports, data and analysis using New York State assessment data, common assessment data, and third-party assessment data
- Responsible for utilizing the results of data analysis to support educational goals, roundtable discussions, and data inquiry
- Develops and facilitates district and regional data informed educational workshops, training, and collegial shares for administrators and teachers
- Supports a welcoming and affirming environment and treats all with respect and dignity
START DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: $61,880.00 (Contractual)
