Job Description
POSITION:                  Technology Support (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2026
 
PROGRAM SITE:        Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval
 
PROGRAM DATES: 
 
Registration Days
July 1, 2
 
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Classes
July 8 - August 13
Monday to Thursday
7:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.
Regents Exam & Scoring
August 18, 19, 20, 21
 
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide technical support to students and teachers during the summer school program
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Communicate with administrator(s) to ensure the effective use of technology integration
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
  • Responsibilities related to planning will begin as soon as successful candidates are identified. Start date approximately May 2026.

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES
 
START DATE:              Approximate May 2026
 
 
SALARY:                      $50.17/hour
Job Qualifications
  • Experience in providing technical support in a professional or academic setting
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Clear communication skills to inform and support all staff with technical issues that arise
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
