Job Description

POSITION:                Testing Coordinatorl (PT) - Regional Summer High School at Bay Shore 2026

PROGRAM SITE:        Bay Shore High School is the tentative location, dependent on contract and budget approval

 

 

PROGRAM DATES:    

 

Registration Days	July 1, 2		8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Planning Days	July 3, 6, 7		8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Classes	July 8 - August 13	Monday to Thursday	7:20 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.
Regents Exam & Scoring	August 18, 19, 20, 21		7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is needed to organize and oversee the August New York State Regents Exam Proctoring and Scoring. 
• Identify students enrolled in the ESBOCES Regional Summer School program who have an IEP or 504 Plan.
• Inform teaching/administrative staff of identified students.
• Provide testing accommodations and modifications training to staff as needed.
• Work with Regional Summer building administrators to organize student testing schedules and accommodations for classroom exams and August Regents exams. Work with staff members to ensure that all students receive the necessary exams and testing accommodations.
• Upon completion of the exams the testing coordinator and building administrators will organize and train scoring teams to ensure that all exams are properly scored.
• Communicate with staff, administration and parents/guardians.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

• This will be a hybrid position. Ability to work remotely will be given. There will be required in-person meetings at ISC@Sequoya, Holtsville, NY, and Host site location as needed.

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

 

START DATE:              June 2026

 

SALARY:                      $8,620.00

Job Qualifications

• NYS SAS/SDA/SBL or Administrator Certification
• Special Education Certification preferred
