Job Description

POSITION:                 Summer Enrichment Teacher (PT)

                                    (Bay Shore and Bayport-Blue Point)

 

ASSIGNMENT:           July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (Bayport-Blue Point)

                                   July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (Bay Shore)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Summer Enrichment Director
• Provides STEM and Literacy instruction for students entering grades 1-8

Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:

Orientation:     June 29, 2026 (Bay Shore and Bayport-Blue Point)

Program:        July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026 (Bay Shore and Bayport-Blue Point)

THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES

START DATE:              June 29, 2026

SALARY RANGE:        $26.50/hour

Job Qualifications

• Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License required

• Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
