Job Description
POSITION:                 Divisional Administrator for Career, Technical, and Adult Education (FT, 12-month)

Eastern Suffolk BOCES is seeking a visionary and dynamic educational leader to oversee comprehensive Career, Technical, and Adult Education initiatives.  The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction across multiple locations, ensuring high program standards, community alignment, and strong fiscal stewardship.
 
ASSIGNMENT:          CTE – Adult Education
LOCATION:               Holtsville, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead, supervise, and support a diverse team of administrators and staff across Career, Technical, and Adult Education programs
  • Oversee Adult Education programs, including:  Adult CTE, Health Sciences, Adult Literacy, Incarcerated Education, and funded programs
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Assess and refine curriculum to ensure alignment with state and federal standards
  • Develop and carryout action plans related to Strategic Planning, including: data collection and progress monitoring of strategic goals
  • Oversee budget development, fiscal management, and resource allocation for assigned programs
  • Cultivate and expand advisory board relationships to align program offerings with current regional workforce demands and employment trends
  • Evaluate instructional effectiveness and program outcomes using comprehensive data-driven metrics
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards
START DATE:           As soon as possible
SALARY:                   $171,505.00
Job Qualifications
  • NYS SDA/SDL Certification required
  • Minimum five (5) years of administrative and/or supervisory experience
  • Experience in Career and Technical Education preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage programs and staff in multiple locations
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing grant-funded programs and compliance reporting
  • Proven track record in community outreach and building robust industry partnerships with local businesses and labor organizations
  • Experience facilitating professional development and instructional coaching for adult educators
