Job Description

Position: BOCES Transportation Administrator (provisional)

 

Location: Transportation / Barton Avenue Armory

 

Responsibilities:   

• Provide leadership and direct supervision to Eastern Suffolk BOCES Regional Transportation Program staff.
• Analyze, review, and plan transportation programs to provide quality programs and services on a cost-effective basis.
• Oversee adherence to contractual agreements with private bus corporations, prepare bids and requests for proposals, manage relationships with vendors.
• Oversee the budget preparation and manage departmental budgets.

 

Salary: $138,170 (per non-rep technical contractual guidelines)

 

Start Date: 11/19/2026

Eligible to be appointed by Civil Service (Must be in title or reachable on eligible list after exam)
