Responsibilities

Substitute Teaching Assistants

Substitute Teaching Assistant:

Responsibilities

  • Care for the physical needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities including but not limited to students with autism, emotional disturbance, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, or multiple disabilities.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a teacher or other professional supervisor
  • Provide assistance to students in completing assigned projects
  • Transport and accompany student to activities and physically participate as necessary
  • May perform various record keeping tasks

  • Must have RN license (BS or Masters degree)
