POSITION:                   Program Administrator for Digital Learning and Assessments
 
Eastern Suffolk BOCES is seeking a skilled and collaborative educational leader for the position of Program Administrator for Digital Learning and Assessments. This role is responsible for overseeing and advancing regional programs that support instructional technology, assessment services, and emerging innovations for ESBOCES component school districts.
 
The Program Administrator plays a key role in the design, implementation, and evaluation of services that enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes. This position requires strong leadership, program management, fiscal oversight, and the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
 
ASSIGNMENT:             Department of Educational Support Services / Digital Learning and Assessments
 
LOCATION:                  Holtsville, New York (Hybrid work opportunities may be available)
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate regional and in-district services related to instructional technology and assessment, aligned with district needs, NYSED initiatives, and best practices
  • Provide leadership and oversight of ESBOCES programs including the Model Schools Program and Third Party Assessment Services
  • Collaborate with the Director of ESS, Regional Information Center, school district administrators, and NYSED to identify needs, and support regional and statewide initiatives
  • Supervise and evaluate professional and support staff including educational technology coaches, office staff, and consultants
  • Lead long-range program planning and strategic initiatives to support innovation in instructional technology and assessment practices
  • Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets, ensuring responsible fiscal planning and alignment with program goals
  • Oversee contracts and relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Use data, feedback, and program evaluation to continuously improve services and ensure responsiveness to district needs
  • Serve as liaison to component districts and represent ESBOCES at regional and statewide meetings
  • Support and manage grant-funded initiatives to enhance instructional practices and student learning
  • Coordinate regional events and initiatives, including collaboration on largescale professional learning opportunities
  • Lead and support educational technology coaches in building district capacity to effectively integrate evolving artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and student outcomes

SALARY:                      $158,375.00
