Eastern Suffolk BOCES is seeking a collaborative educational leader for the position of Assistant Administrative Coordinator for Digital Learning & Assessments.  This position supports the coordination and advancement of the Model Schools and Third Party Assessments programs that serve ESBOCES component school districts and ESBOCES programs.
 
The Assistant Coordinator assists the Program Administrator in the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of services that strengthen instructional technology, assessment systems, and innovative teaching and learning practices.  This role requires strong leadership, organizational management, and the ability to build effective partnerships with school districts, vendors, and internal teams to support high-quality regional services and improve student outcomes.

LOCATION:           Instructional Support Center @ Sequoya, Holtsville, NY
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the Program Administrator to plan, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate regional and district-based services in instructional technology and assessment, aligned with district priorities, NYSED initiatives, and best practices.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Program Administrator with the coordination and daily operations of various Digital Learning and Assessments programs and initiatives including Model Schools and Third Party Assessments.
  • Supervise and evaluate professional and support staff, including Education Technology Coaches, office staff, consultants, and services providers
  • Lead long-range planning and strategic initiatives to promote innovation in instructional technology, assessment, and digital learning
  • Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets to ensure effective fiscal oversight and alignment with program goals
  • Oversee contracts, vendors, and service agreements to ensure quality service delivery and compliance
  • Use data, feedback, and evaluations to improve services and ensure responsiveness to district needs
  • Support and manage grant-funded initiatives that enhance instructional practice and student outcomes
  • Support Educational Technology Coaches in building district capacity to integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching, learning, and student achievement
