Substitute Special Education Aides for 2024-2025 School Year

Substitute Special Education Aide:

Responsibilities

  • Care for the physical needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities, including but not limited to students with autism, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, or multiple disabilities.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a teacher or other professional supervisor
  • Provide assistance to students in completing assigned projects
  • Transport and accompany student to activities and physically participate as necessary
  • May perform various record keeping tasks
