RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Program Support and Teacher Partnership:
    • Serve as a dedicated resource to assigned CTE cluster programs and teachers, providing ongoing support for work-based learning integration, curriculum connections, and student placement coordination
  • Business & Industry Relationship Development:
    • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with employers and industry leaders to create a robust pipeline of work-based learning opportunities that align with student career pathways and regional workforce needs, and engaged B&I partners who are excited to support ESB’s vision of transforming lives
  • Comprehensive Work-Based Learning Coordination:
    • Facilitate the full continuum of work-based learning experiences as outlined in the NYSED Work-Based Learning Manual, including workplace tours, job shadowing, informational interview, guest speakers, and cooperative (CO-OP) education placements
  • Dual-Focused Liaison:
    • Act as the primary point of contact between business partners and CTE programs, ensuring clear communication, mutual benefit, and seamless coordination that serves both employer needs and student learning objectives and supports B&I participation in cluster meetings, advisory boards, and other special events
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee all documentation, safety requirements, training agreements, and regulatory compliance for work-based learning experiences while maintaining high-quality standards that reflect positively on BOCES, participating schools, and industry partners
  • Clusters include:
    • Transportation, Distribution and Logistics, Hospitality and Tourism, and Manufacturing Technology

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide theory and practical application for students enrolled in Adult Education
  • Complete all required paperwork, including student attendance and grade reports
  • Create lesson plans aligned with the CTE course

START DATE:         July 1, 2026 and ongoing for the 2026-2027 school year

SALARY:                  $34.00* - $41.00*/hour

*Salary rates are established per 2025-2026 Board approved compensation schedule.  2026-2027 salary rates will follow Board approved compensation schedule when available.
